Accountants for Influencers
Written and reviewed by the Influencer Accountants editorial team. Last reviewed 28 July 2026.
If your income is brand deals, sponsored posts and gifting, your tax has a particular shape, and it is one general accountants rarely meet. We work with influencers specifically, so the gifted haul and the agency contract are familiar ground.
The work is a fixed fee agreed before we start, with nothing charged until you say yes to the quote.
What We Handle
Your Self Assessment return and the bookkeeping behind it, built around how influencer income really arrives: paid partnerships, affiliate commission, and the value of gifted products and trips. We claim the expenses a content business runs up and get the profit right.
We also handle the growth decisions: when brand-deal income makes a limited company worthwhile, and when you are heading for the VAT threshold and need to plan for it.
Where Influencer Tax Gets Awkward
Gifting is the hard part. Most PR comes with an expectation of a post, which makes it taxable at its value, but genuine no-strings gifts are not. Draw that line wrong and you either invite a problem or pay tax you never owed. Agency and management fees, and who invoices whom, add another layer.
We handle gifted-income valuation as routine, so the taxable figure is defensible and you are not over-declaring a wardrobe of things you were sent and never asked for.
How It Runs
Tell us what you earn from and send your records in one go. We do the work, show you the numbers, and file once you approve. Identity checks come first, as at any UK firm. You can take just the return, or the bookkeeping through the year as well.
Because gifting and brand-deal timing matter, we would rather set up a light monthly habit for logging what you are sent than reconstruct a year of it in January. It takes minutes and it makes the return honest and quick.
What It Costs
A fixed fee agreed up front, sized to your situation rather than billed by the hour. A single return with modest gifting sits at the lower end; heavy brand-deal and PR volume with a company structure costs more, and we tell you which you are first.
To get a price, tell us what you earn from, including roughly how much comes as products rather than cash, and we will come back with a fixed quote.
