Selling through TikTok Shop is a retail business wearing a creator's clothes. You have payouts net of fees, cost of goods, stock, returns and refunds, and the VAT question arrives faster than most sellers expect. We handle the accounts for TikTok Shop sellers so the numbers actually reconcile.
Fixed fee, agreed before we begin, with nothing charged until you approve it.
What We Handle
Reconciling your Seller Centre payouts, net of TikTok's fees, to what actually lands in your bank, then building the accounts on top: cost of goods sold, inventory, returns and refunds, and shipping. This is proper bookkeeping, not a single income line, because selling goods is taxed on margin.
We watch the VAT position closely. Once your taxable turnover passes the £90,000 threshold you must register, and for a fast-growing shop that can arrive within months, so we flag it before it becomes a problem rather than after.
Where TikTok Shop Tax Gets Awkward
Sellers routinely mistake payouts for profit. The money that lands is already net of fees but before your cost of goods, so treating it as income overstates profit and the tax on it. Returns and refunds landing in a later period than the sale add another layer.
VAT is the other trap. It creeps up on a growing shop, and registering late brings penalties. We keep the running total in view and get you registered at the right time, on the right scheme.
How It Runs
Give us access to your Seller Centre reports and the bank the payouts land in, and the records we ask for. We reconcile, build the accounts, show you the numbers and file once you are happy. Identity checks come first. Most sellers take the year-round bookkeeping rather than a one-off return, because stock and VAT need keeping current.
When Making Tax Digital reaches you, we run the quarterly updates as part of the service so the deadlines are ours to watch.
What It Costs
A fixed fee agreed before work starts, sized to your volume. A small shop with light stock is at the lower end; high order volume with VAT and inventory costs more, and we tell you which you are first.
To get a price, tell us your rough monthly sales and whether you are VAT registered, and we will come back with a fixed quote and a deadline.
